Journey details

We will pick you up at your accommodation in a private vehicle and travel into the heart of the Atacama Salt Flat to visit three contrasting landscapes. Our first main stop is Cejar Lagoon, known for the high salinity of its waters, which makes floating almost effortless. The private format allows you to enjoy the experience without rushing and with greater flexibility at each stop. We will then continue to Ojos del Salar, two freshwater lagoons surrounded by the open desert landscape, before heading to Tebinquinche Lagoon. Here, we will walk calmly along the permitted trails, enjoying the textures of the salt flat, the surrounding mountains and the changing afternoon light. We will finish with a cocktail including snacks and drinks in a peaceful desert setting before returning to San Pedro de Atacama. Alcoholic beverages are served only to guests of legal drinking age, and non-alcoholic options are available. Weather, reflections, colors and lighting conditions vary naturally and cannot be guaranteed.

Itinerary

Private journey to the Atacama Salt Flat: We will pick you up directly at your accommodation and begin the journey in a private vehicle. As we leave San Pedro de Atacama, the landscape opens toward the vast salt flat and the Andes.
Floating at Cejar Lagoon: At Cejar Lagoon, you will have time to experience its highly saline waters, where the concentration of salt creates a remarkable natural buoyancy. The private format allows us to enjoy this stop calmly and adapt the pace to the group.
Ojos del Salar: We will continue to Ojos del Salar, two freshwater lagoons that appear unexpectedly in the middle of the arid landscape. We will stop to observe the contrast between the water, the surrounding terrain and the immense desert horizon.
Tebinquinche Lagoon: At Tebinquinche, we will walk along the permitted trails at a relaxed pace, observing the salt formations, the lagoon and the surrounding mountain landscape. The private experience gives us more time to stop for photographs and appreciate the details of the environment.
Desert cocktail: To finish the experience, we will enjoy a selection of snacks and drinks in a peaceful setting while the afternoon light changes across the landscape. Afterward, we will return to San Pedro de Atacama. Alcoholic beverages are available only to adults of legal drinking age, with non-alcoholic alternatives available.
