We pick you up at your accommodation and head into the Cordillera de la Sal, where millions of years of geological history have shaped one of the most extraordinary landscapes in the Atacama Desert. Walk among dunes, canyons and wind-carved rock formations while your guide shares the area's geology, wildlife and cultural significance. The experience ends at Kari Viewpoint, where you'll watch the desert transform with the colors of sunset before returning to San Pedro. Shared service for up to 15 passengers.

Itinerary
Cordillera de la Sal: Travel into one of the most remarkable geological formations in the Atacama Desert, where salt, wind and time have sculpted an extraordinary landscape. Moon Valley Circuit: Walk through dunes, canyons and mineral formations while your guide explains the geology, wildlife and cultural history of the area. There will be time to enjoy the scenery and take photographs. Kari Viewpoint Sunset: Finish the experience overlooking the Atacama Basin as the changing light paints the desert with the warm colors of sunset before returning to San Pedro.

No, it is a low to moderate difficulty tour. It includes short walks on sand, uneven terrain and viewpoints, so we recommend comfortable closed shoes and taking it slowly, especially in the afternoon sun.
Is the entrance fee to Valley of the Moon included?
